BERGER SEIDLE Kopsanas tabula un aprakstsAquaSeal® EcoGold is a combination based on polymerized acrylate and polyurethane dispersions and is highly resistant and easy to use. One-component, ready and easy to use with optimized drying characteristics. AquaSeal® EcoGold has excellent filling and flow properties.

Special instructions

In general, AquaSeal® EcoGold has a good adhesion on different primers, for example AquaSeal® FlexPrimer, AquaSeal® ExoBloc and SolvSeal UniQuickPrimer.
Fatty wood species (tropical woods) such as teak or olive should be primed with AquaSeal® ExoBloc. Dark wood species such as cherry and pear should for optical reasons (nicer grain enhancement) be primed with AquaSeal® ExoBloc. The use of AquaSeal® EcoGold on cork is authorized.

Application

AquaSeal® EcoGold can be applied by roller, brush or cross- troweled in 3 uniform coats.
Nervous or heavily absorbent wood species, for example beech, maple and ash must not be trowelled but roller-coated!

Special advice

Unlike with conventional solvent-based finishes, AquaSeal® EcoGold should be applied in rich layers. The material should not be excessively spread with the roller.

Drying/strong>

In order to avoid excessive swelling pressure, we recommend to do only one roller application of water-borne lacquer per day so that the wood has sufficient time to give off the absorbed water. The lacquer as such, in general, can be sanded and carefully walked on after about 3-4 hours (23°C/50% rel. humidity).
Insufficient ventilation, low temperatures, different humidity or thick coats may delay drying considerably. Do not expose to wear, cover with carpets or apply care products for 8-14 days.

Consumption

Depending on floor surface and method:
1 trowel coat as intermediate filling: approx. 30 ml/m2 resp. approx. 35 m2/l
1 roller/brush coat:
approx. 100 ml/m2 resp. approx. 10 m2/l

Storage and transport

Shelf life of original unopened packing min. 12 months provided that material is transported and stored at a cool and dry place protected from freezing.

Attention!

Even when working with materials that contain a small amount of harmful substances, it is necessary to follow the generally accepted labor protection regulations. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
